The World Tourism Organization, holding a meeting near the Victoria Falls in these days, published the final report according to which the world tourist flow grew during the first half of the year 2013 by 5% instead of the predicted 3-4%.
In total, from January to June, nearly 500 million tourist arrivals to foreign countries were registered worldwide - this is 25 million more than for anal tech period a year earlier. In some parts of the world, the largest growth was predicted by Asia, which took travelers 6% more than in the first half of 2012. The indicator for Europe was 5%, but the North and South America added only 2%, which is lower than the level predicted at the beginning of the year.
