The Cult Statue of Liberty in New York will again be available for visit on July 4, the day of US independence. As a result of Hurricane Sandy, swept over the east coast in October last year, the New York symbol was closed to the general public. Raising the water level seriously damaged the marina and paths on Liberty Island, which required the restoration work. In addition, two New York museums - the Metropolitan and its branch Kloysters - announced that they will be open from July 1 7 days a week, from 10 am to 7 pm (up to 16:45 on the weekends)
