We chose an inexpensive hotel for a family vacation. Dar Al Sondos Hotel Apartments by Le Meridien was exactly the hotel that suited us. Firstly, the location is very convenient, close to the airport, to the metro take about 5-10 minutes and you are anywhere in Dubai. Secondly, there are also currency exchange, shops, pharmacy, shopping center. The hotel staff is friendly, understands a little Russian, our relatively average English is quite suitable.
