At the end of May we wrote that the Foreign Ministry of South Korea reached agreements with the Russian side on the introduction of a visa-free regime between the two countries for short trips. Now these agreements have received the long-awaited continuation in the form of a concrete agreement between the two countries.
The contents of the agreement only confirmed the previously stated conditions: Russians will be able to visit the South Korean state with tourist purposes for up to 60 days. At the same time, the total duration of trips should not exceed 90 days within six months. In addition, visa cancellation will affect the cases of visiting friends or relatives by invitation, as well as trips with business purposes.
Recall that after easing the visa regime in 2010, the flow of Russian tourists to South Korea increased by 80%.
