One of the business cards of the pearl of the Crimean peninsula is the Yalta zoo "Fairy Tale". This is the first and only private zoo in the country, the history of which began in 1990.
Initially, the attraction was a small zoo, created - as you might guess from the name - near the "Glade of Fairy Tales" in Yalta. Visitors could see peacocks, bears, yaks, squirrels and other animals.
Yalta zoo "Fairy Tale" is today the largest in the Crimea - it is inhabited by over 120 species of our smaller brothers. In 2007, the Marine Aquarium was opened on the adjoining territory of the park, the entrance to which is the mouth of a giant shark.
In 1995, the zoo corner was purchased by businessman Oleg Zubkov, this event marked the beginning of the revival of the zoo. "Fairy tale" is a multi-level terrace, spacious aviaries allow residents to feel comfortable.
The territory of the zoo is decorated with rose bushes, and the mood is raised by the sounding music and panoramic views of the mountains. In the summer days, you can admire funny monkeys and lemurs, regal lions and tigers, exotic ostriches and peacocks, from nine to 20.00, in the winter - from nine to 17.00. With animals you can take pictures, feed them.

In the zoo "Fairy Tale" we were two times with a difference of five years, and during this time the zoo has significantly expanded and replenished with new pets. Although the emotions received from the visit, we got the same - enthusiastic. In general, if you want to feel like children, then you are here. I advise in advance to buy more food, because the territory of the zoo is very expensive. We bought bananas, apples, cookies, nuts. But it depends on who you are going to feed. After all, the main advantage of the zoo is ... Read the whole review

Yalta - a wonderful resort city. Knowingly it is considered the best on the Black Sea coast of Crimea. Resting in Yalta, a tourist needs to be prepared for the fact that all the interesting places are in the distance from the city. Zoo "Fairy Tale" was no exception.
Until August 2012, I visited many zoos, both Russian and foreign. However, the visit left much more positive impressions. First, it affects the vast territory and arrangement. After the visit, the feeling remains for a long time ... Read the full review

Why do we like to go to Zorpark, did not you think? Including because you can make there cool pictures with animals, which we have never seen and hardly watch in the wild. The only opportunity to stare at the exotic fauna is to become a visitor to the zoo. Once again coming here, you contribute to ensuring that animals are kept in better conditions and eat better, because the lion's share of the zoo's income is the amount collected by the entrance fee.

Yalta Zoo we visited during the winter season in the Crimea. The zoo is located in Yalta, next to the unusual place "Glade of Fairy Tales", in which you will also visit if you want, after arriving at the zoo. It turns out "two in one."
Yalta Zoo has advantages even before the authoritative Nikolaevsky zoo. First: here you are allowed to feed the animals, you will get food quietly at the entrance to the menagerie. The feeding process is fun and enjoyable, it gives a lot of pleasure and smiles like ... Read the whole review
