Add a review about the Church of All Saints

In the "God given" Feodosia one of the main attractions recognized the Church of All Saints. The temple in the name of All Saints in the land of the Russian Saints is a unique architectural structure. The shrine, built in the 1880s, was made in a mixed style, in which the elements of Byzantine, Old Russian style and Gothic were guessed. The temple was consecrated in 1885.

In the Soviet period, the first All-Svyatsky Church in Feodosia was closed as part of an anti-religious campaign. But already in 1942 the temple under the German occupation again earned.

In 1961 the Church of All Saints was blown up, and the bells were dropped into the Feodosiya Bay. In the place where the original cathedral used to be, only the chapel that served as the crypt of the princes of Chernetsky and the church gate remained.

In 1996, the construction of the second All-Svyatsky church began in Feodosia, a new project was developed based on photographs of the former building. In 2001, the temple was crowned with the main dome with a cross, internal painting using the motifs of Botticelli, Ivanov was made by Severodonetsk artists. Today in the Church of All Saints gilded walls, parishioners can visit the museum of the church, there is a children's theater, parochial school.
