Italy plans to adopt at least 1, 2 million of Russian tourists - the corresponding figure was announced at a meeting with journalists by Cesare Maria Ragalini, the Ambassador of the country.

As the diplomatic representative specified, the Moscow Consulate alone expects to issue about 750,000 visas this year. Their colleagues from St. Petersburg will show much less modest statistics - no more than 50 thousand. Nevertheless, taking into account the travelers who visit Italy for visas from other Schengen states, the total volume of the tourist flow from Russia will reach the announced figure of 1, 2 million tourists.

We remind that today in the Russian cities there are 14 visa centers in Italy, and by February their number will grow to 21. Starting in July, the Italian consulate in Moscow issues an annual multivisa for everyone who has at least one Schengen passport in any country participating in the passport
