Blois Castle
The Royal Castle of Blois (Château de Blois) - the largest of all mkov Loire. It was here that Louis XII was born, and King Francis I liked to come here, preferring Blois to all other residences and chateau.
The main part of the castle was built in the 15th century by the Dukes of Orleans, a little later one of them joined the French throne under the name of Louis XII (1498).
