How to get to Haad Rin
You can get to Haad Rin directly from Koh Samui - ferries are sent at least three times a day from the pier of Big Buddha. Other ferries run to Tong Sal.
Official taxi-minibuses (Songthaew) constantly "scurry" around the island and ask for a standard fee for the trip, ~ 100 THB. When you go to a party, you should book a taxi in advance, otherwise you will have to pay exorbitantly.

Beaches Haad Rina
The resort is divided into several beaches : Haad-Rin-Knock with the largest concentration of clubs on the island; and the tranquil Haad Rin Nye (sunset beach) where hotels are a bit cheaper. Lovers of silence can take a boat and go to the neighboring beaches of Haad-Yuan, Haad-Tian and up to the east - there the secluded little sandy coves alternate with the rocky coast.
The bottom goes deep enough, so families with children or beginners here will not be very comfortable. There is also no coral reef near the beach, so there is really nothing to watch under water: all the most interesting things happen, usually on the surface ... However, along the mountain path you can get to Haad Conti beach, which is located on the northern tip of Haad-Rin-Knock peninsula. There is a small but quite nice reef here
But in windy weather, you can surf here, play volleyball, ride a water motorcycle, etc.
