Impressions of the trip are still fresh, since I returned from the "corner of paradise" at the end of winter. Just note, 3 stars of the Citrus hotel - it's somewhere 2 stars for hotels in Europe
A big disadvantage is the hotel rooms themselves: in the room there was sometimes a strange smell (I think cleaning used insecticides, although they were not seen) one of the closet doors did not open at all, as she was disturbed by a tightly moved bedside table, the room is small, near the hotel there is no entrance to the ocean (large reefs), bathroom repair is old, ... At this hotel with a juicy name Citrus rested in November 2013. However, I position the hotel as 4 *, not 3 *.
The hotel, in principle, very satisfied. It looks new, the rooms are very good, with new furniture. A luxurious beach near by. Always the maid left for 2 dollars for tea and was always very clean, floors and bathroom washed with a special fragrant solution, sprinkled the bed with petals of some flowers and of course got up something unimaginable of towels. I rested with a friend in the hotel in September 2013. I liked the rest on Sri Lanka
We stayed at the Citrus Hotel. The responses were one positive.
The food in the hotel is good, on the contrary (who does not eat, but is simply impossible) there is a supermarket. A supermarket is right across the road. Also near the hotel there are shopping benches, you can safely buy souvenirs and not only. One minus in the room were the ants, who very severely bitten us

The hotel in Lankan standards has a fairly large area, with an open veranda-cafe, with a swimming pool and sun loungers. Located right on the beach of the Indian Ocean. Directly on the beach there is a long table with high chairs and a bar counter, from where it's wonderful to watch the sunset over the ocean.
What I liked:
1) the food was excellent, there was no fault with meat and fruit.
2) Probably no country can afford such a "first line" as Sri Lanka.
