Submit feedback about the planetarium them. Yu. A. Gagarin in Novorossiysk

In 1961, when the Soviet cosmonaut Yuri Gagarin made his first famous flight for the first time, a powerful telescope was built in Novorossiysk to follow the great pioneer at least symbolically approaching the cosmos. This short history precedes the creation of the first and only planetarium in the Krasnodar Territory - the Novorossiysk Planetarium named after Yuri Gagarin

Due to its uniqueness, the Gagarin Planetarium is recognized as an object of the cultural heritage of the Russian Federation and the central sight of Novorossiysk. In the walls of the dome hall you can travel through the starry sky, listen to lectures on astronomy, cosmonautics, geography and nature studies and, most interestingly, observe the cosmos through the lens of a real telescope. This is truly an exciting spectacle, with a fascination for both children and adults.

Novorossiysk Planetarium is rather small - about 50 seats. The program of the institution is largely designed for children of school and primary school age. Therefore, educational and popular science films are often played here on various school disciplines. And for the youngest viewers, the information is given in a fascinating fairy-tale form. By the way, during the sessions adults can also learn a lot of useful information for themselves. In general, the declared program of the planetarium named after Yuri Gagarin consists of more than 80 lectures

But so often it makes no sense to look through the telescope. Therefore, the device is allowed only on certain days, when something interesting happens in the foreseeable cosmic space. In the rest of the time, an inexperienced person will still not be able to understand what is there for in the starry sky.

Currently, the planetarium staff are working on a project for future reconstruction. The fact is that all the equipment used in the dome hall has long been out of date, and progress does not stand still. By means of modern visual technologies, real miracles can be projected onto the planetarium dome, which certainly attracts visitors. However, such modernization is very expensive, so the project is still a project.
