The fountain "Glory" in the Moscow Victory Park in St. Petersburg was laid October 7, 1945 as a sign of Victory over fascist Germany and Japan. It is conceived as a hymn of life, and everything in it ideologically and artistically tells about feats during the war. The park is divided in the traditions of Russian landscape art with a unity of two styles: landscape and regular.

The round granite bowl of the fountain "Glory" in the Moscow Victory Park is located behind the propylae, which open the main avenue and are the axis of the composition. The bowl is decorated with a bronze wreath made of tulips and laurels, twelve water-cannons are installed there, twenty-four water meters perimeter around the granite bowl, in the center - a jet of water 12 meters powerfully soared upwards.
Behind the fountain "Glory" in Moscow Victory Park is a part of the main alleys, the Alley of Heroes with bronze busts twice heroes of the Soviet Union. In 1977, it was continued by the Alley of Twice Heroes of Socialist Labor
