The management of Transaero Airlines informed about the change of the base airport: the second largest passenger traffic is moving to Vnukovo

The change of the main hub does not mean that "Transaero" will completely leave Domodedovo. Nevertheless, by the beginning of the winter season, the airline will transfer its administrative and technical base to Vnukovo, as well as the most popular flights both on domestic and international routes.

In an interview with ITAR-TASS, the general director of Transaero, Olga Pleshakova, explained leaving from Domodedovo its excessive congestion and inability to fully meet the needs of the airline. In November, Vnukovo will serve Phuket, Maldives, Toronto, New York, Los Angeles and other key directions of the carrier.

Recall that today Transaero is among the world's top 50 airlines and the top ten travel carriers.
