North Korea ski resort

North Korean leader Kim Jong-un inspected the construction of the country's first ski resort, while their neighbor - South Korea - is preparing for the Winter Olympic Games in 2018.

As stated by the central North Korean news agency, the leader of North Korea visited the site of the construction of the future ski station - Mount Masik, located in the north-east of the country. The resort will offer tourists 110 kilometers of ski slopes of varying difficulty, several hotels, a helicopter aerodrome and a cableway.

Kim Jong-un, who graduated from a high school in the Swiss capital, confirmed the desire of the North Korean People's Workers Party to create a world class ski resort with relevant service and modern infrastructure. The opening of the resort is scheduled for the next winter season
