Michelin released the annual tourist guide for Tokyo and Yokohama MICHELIN Guide Tokyo Yokohama Shonan 2014, which Included 504 facilities, including 438 restaurants, 54 hotels and 12 ryokan. The main result of the publication: the most prestigious Michelin stars got 281 restaurants (14 restaurants received three stars, 59 - two and 208 - one star).

The National Tourism Organization of Japan specifies that for the first time 157 restaurants with the mark " Bib Gourmand. " They serve French and Italian cuisine, and the "Bib Gourmand" mark stands for good value for money. In other words, you can eat deliciously in these restaurants, spending no more than 5000 yen (about 2000 rubles) for lunch / dinner.

Until the results for Paris are announced, it is impossible to say with absolute certainty whether the capital of Japan has retained the title of culinary leader. But the hope for a full and unconditional victory remains, because last year Paris could boast of only 10 restaurants with three Michelin stars.
