Dole de Brtean is located next to the English Channel coast, in the northeast of Brittany, 25 km west of Mont-Saint-Michel and about the same distance east of Saint-Malo. The small town and all its main attractions, restaurants, hotels, banks and post office are concentrated in Rue Grande des Stuarts, that runs parallel to the cathedral. In the alleys that depart from this central "ryu", you can find a lot of decent restaurants in the typical Breton style - with the obligatory fachwerk on the facade, the cider in the menu and literally 4-5 tables by the big fireplace.

Today, the top of the granite is crowned by a statue of the Madonna with the baby, and just below the hill is a tiny chapel.
